PORTLAND, Ore. (KOIN) — The Clark County Sheriff's Office is releasing new bodycam footage of a deputy who shot and killed a man two weeks ago in downtown Vancouver.

On July 30, deputies were trying to locate a man armed with a gun, who was allegedly drunk and high on meth and making deadly threats towards his family and himself, officials said.

The incident occurred near Main Street and East 19th Street.

The Clark County Sheriff's Office said earlier that night, deputies responded to a call from a home at East 27th and H Street on a report that the caller's son, Branden Whitcomb, was under the influence and was threatening to kill them and himself.
