Another round of heat and high humidity returns for the weekend.
Omaha's Weather Leader has deemed Friday, Saturday, and Sunday impact weather days with forecast highs in the mid to upper 90s and heat index values up to 110° possible.

The National Weather Service has issued heat advisories for eastern Nebraska and western Iowa from 11 a.m. to 8 p.m. both Friday and Saturday. The risk for heat-related illness will be high during this time. Drink plenty of water, take frequent breaks in the shade or air conditioning, and check on relatives and neighbors.
