DIMONDALE, Mich. (WILX) - The new Dimondale Elementary School is set to open on Thursday.

The building is one of several upgrades within the Holt Public Schools District, funded by a $148 million bond aimed at renovating district buildings and facilities.

District leaders say the new school will be ready in time for the upcoming school year, which begins on August 20.

A ribbon-cutting ceremony is scheduled for noon on August 14.
