A hot new smash burger spot is coming to Uptown Dallas in the former location of Playground Bar, which closed in 2024 after a seven-year run.

Austin-based NADC Burger is expected to open this Friday, Aug. 15, at 2908 McKinney Ave., in between the recently closed Theory nightclub and Standard Pour. Employees were seen setting up chairs to make use of the outdoor seating in front of the two-story establishment Aug. 13 and confirmed plans to open to patrons in a couple of days.
