Good Thursday! Sunnier, hot, and muggy conditions are expected this afternoon. Highs will range in the upper-80s and the lower-90s. Heat index values will feel even hotter.

A few scattered showers and some storms will be possible. Since the ground is already saturated, these isolated areas could experience some flooding issues. Tropical moisture is less abundant than it was over the last few days, so any rain showers that pop up are not expected to be nearly as impactful as what was seen on August 12th. Temperatures and heat index values could creep into dangerous levels throughout the weekend. Be sure to stay hydrated and never leave children or pets inside cars unattended.
