Warm and muggy conditions expected for Friday

MADISON, Wis. (WMTV) - We’re heading into Thursday evening with quiet and mild weather. Temperatures will slip into the low 60s overnight under mostly clear skies.

Friday marks the start of a transition. Southerly winds will bring in warmer, more humid air, sending highs into the mid-to-upper 80s. Dew points will climb to near 70, making it feel muggier than today. The daytime hours look mainly dry, but by late Friday night, the first round of showers and thunderstorms could develop.
