APPLETON, Wis. (WBAY) - Franklin Elementary School and “Trim Hunger” teamed up on Thursday to open a new community food pantry.

The pantry is located outside the school and is open to all, giving community members access to food and other essential items.

The “shared shelf” pantry will allow community members to contribute to the pantry and help out their neighbors who may be struggling to get daily necessities.
