PORT CLINTON – The Catawba Island Township Board of Zoning Appeals has delayed a decision on a variance request that would allow for a residential development at a West Harbor marina.

If passed, the variance would allow Breakpoint Catawba Holdings LLC to build 22 single-family detached “cluster condos” and 16 duplex townhomes at 5226 E. Gardner Rd. The property is currently being utilized as a marina, campground, boat storage, and service yard and occupies roughly 17 acres, of which 5.5 acres are dry land.
