DEDHAM -- Have you ever wanted to take a ride along some scenic train tracks on your own pedal bike?

Well… Rob Harte, founder of Rev Rail, owns many bike and track locations across the country including; New York, New Jersey, and Colorado.

His most recent venture has been renovating old train tracks in Dedham, right along Green Lake.

The rail bikes are fully equipped with seat belts, brakes, and most importantly.. pedal assist.

“This is our first fleet that we have that’s completely pedal assist, so it’s allowing people will all different abilities, all different ages, to come out and enjoy the tracks," says Harte.

The trip is 3 1/2 miles in, which makes it 7 miles round trip. There are many opportunities to see scenic views, and get picture op’s along the way.
