WEBB COUNTY, Tex. (KGNS) - A south Laredo neighborhood could soon see new sidewalks after Webb County officials approved a construction project this week.

The sidewalks will be added along Guaymas Avenue and Cuatros Vientos Drive, connecting where the two streets meet Wormser Road, officials said.

Currently, sidewalks run along most of those streets but stop at Wormser Road.

County officials did not provide a timeline for when construction will begin.
