FAYETTEVILLE, N.C. (WTVD) -- A Fayetteville man wanted in a gambling scheme is facing several charges thanks to a CrimeStoppers tip, the Cumberland County Sheriff's Office said Thursday.
Sang Hyun Sung, 50, was taken into custody on outstanding warrants related to operating video gaming machines and manufacturing slot machines. He was expected to face more charges, the sheriff's office said.
The arrest came after a Cumberland County resident sent a CrimeStoppers tip to the sheriff's office. Investigators, accompanied by Homeland Security agents, then executed two search warrants in Fayetteville, one in the 700 block of W. Rowan Street and in the 4400 block of Bragg Boulevard.
