KANAWHA COUNTY, W.Va. (WSAZ) – A man who pleaded guilty to a DUI-related crash that killed a man in October 2023 was sentenced Friday to three to 15 years of home confinement.
Ryan Jones appeared in Kanawha County Circuit Court for his sentencing.
His lawyer said Jones has taken responsibility for the crash that killed Dustin Myers, who was 26 and a passenger in a truck that Jones was driving.
The crash happened in the 2700 block of Legg Fork Road in Sissonville. Investigators said Jones went off the road and struck a tree.
