COLUMBIA — Years spent answering 911 calls across Lexington County are the inspiration behind an upcoming Hollywood comedy.
In the comedian-studded trailer for “CODE 3,” Rainn Wilson’s character Randy is heard over an increasingly chaotic supercut of ambulance calls workplace drama encapsulating what so many paramedics and health care professionals feel on a daily basis.
“All we wanna do is save your life,” his burnt-out paramedic character says, “Some of you don’t make it easy.”
The film, starring Wilson, most famous for playing Dwight Schrute in “The Office,” Aimee Carrero (“The Menu”) and Lil Rel Howery (“Get Out”), focuses on one final shift for Wilson’s emergency medical technician character as he trains the rookie (Carrero) and spends one more night with his friend/cowor
