Blue Jays expected to sign top Korean prospect to 7-figure contract
The Toronto Blue Jays are on the verge of making a splash in the international market.
It's the kind of forward-thinking move that can set the Blue Jays up for success many years down the road.
According to Korean baseball insider Daniel Kim , the Blue Jays are "expected to sign" the top high school baseball prospect in Korea.
His name: Seo-jun Moon.
Moon is a senior at Jang-choong High School.
He's listed at 6-foot-5 and is a right-handed pitcher. Moon's fastball is reported to be thrown in the mid-90s.
Kim reports that the signing bonus for Moon is "expected to be more than ($1 million)."
