A person was struck on Route 15 South in North Haven on Friday morning and suffered serious injuries, according to state police.

State police said troopers responded to Route 15 South around 7:31 a.m. Friday when they received a report that a person was in the road. They said the pedestrian has serious injuries and was transported to a hospital.

The road was closed and has since reopened.
