CINCINNATI (ENQUIRER) - Cincinnati police will resume enforcing its updated curfew for unaccompanied minors Friday.

Citywide, all unaccompanied children under the age of 18 must be home by 11 p.m. In a new special curfew district comprising Downtown and Over-the-Rhine south of Liberty Street, children must be home by 9 p.m.

The curfew will be in effect every night, year-round, according to our partners at the Cincinnati Enquirer .

Exceptions to the curfew include:

Minors accompanied by a parent or adult guardian.

Interstate travel.

Traveling to/from work.

Attending or traveling to/from a school, religious or city-sponsored event.

Running an errand or activity directed by a parent or guardian.

Transit related to an emergency.
