PHOENIX (AZFamily) — Drivers in north Phoenix will have to take alternate routes as a new construction project is slated to run for the next few weeks.

According to the Arizona Department of Transportation, two ramps connecting eastbound Loop 101 Agua Fria with I-17 will be closed for two weeks beginning this Friday. The eastbound ramps to north and southbound I-17 will close from August 15 to August 29.

Alternate Loop 101 routes:

Loop 101 to southbound SR 51

Southbound Loop 101 in the West Valley to eastbound I-10 toward downtown Phoenix

Exit eastbound Loop 101 at 35th Avenue and use Deer Valley Road or Union Hills Drive to get back onto I-17

In addition, southbound I-17 will shut down between the I-10 “Stack” interchange near McDowell Road and the I-10 “Split” near Sky Harbor Airp
