EASLEY, S.C. —
It was a homecoming 10 months in the making.
Families, friends, and community members filled the Easley Armory on Saturday to welcome home the 76 soldiers of the Bravo Battery, who spent the past ten months overseas serving in the Army.
For many families and loved ones, the reunion was full of emotions.
"Ten months is the longest we've ever been apart," said Danika Haynes, the girlfriend of one of the returning soldiers. "A lot of nerves, but definitely excited to see him."
Among those who attended the reunion were Easley community members who weren't there to see any specific soldiers, but simply to show support for our troops.
