FARGO — The Fargo Fire Department responded to a call about an oil- or fuel-like substance in Rose Coulee, near 40th Avenue and University Drive South, Sunday afternoon, Aug. 17.

The source of the substance has not been determined, but it has been contained to the coulee and did not enter the Red River, according to Captain Dan Johnson.

Trucks responded to a call at 4:06 p.m. and trucks were still on the scene at 5:45 p.m. Sunday.
