THIBODAUX, La. —

Lafourche Parish Sheriff's Office arrested two men for an armed robbery in Thibodaux.

On Aug. 7, shortly after 5 p.m., a man was reportedly robbed at gunpoint in the area of Karla Drive.

Investigators learned the victim had traveled from another parish in an attempt to sell a smartphone to a man, and they agreed to meet at the residence on Karla Drive.

When the man arrived, two men later identified as Carter and Fletcher, approached his car and began talking about the phone.

According to deputies, one of the men grabbed the phone and pointed a gun at the victim while the other man grabbed a duffle bag from the victim's back seat.
