Two killers of a California girl have been released from prison 30 years after the case made national headlines when prosecutors alleged the teens committed the heinous slaying as part of a satanic ritual. Royce Casey, 47, and Jacob Delashmutt, 47, were both recently paroled, Noozhawk reported .

On the evening of July 22, 1995, 15-year-old Elyse Marie Pahler received a phone call at her home in Nipomo, an unincorporated area of San Luis Obispo County. About 15 minutes later, she snuck out of the house, lured by three teen boys she knew from her school bus route; they told her they had marijuana.
