COBB COUNTY, Ga. — A fire tore through several apartment units at a complex near Six Flags early Monday morning.

It happened at the Residence at Riverside Row apartments on Riverside Pkwy.

According to Cobb County fire officials, three units were impacted and six people were displaced. Several burned-out vehicles could also be seen at the apartments, where 11Alive's Sefenech Henok was on scene Monday morning.

The fire started in a first floor apartment unit, the officials said, and spread to other units upstairs and across a breezeway. Most of the damage was contained to the living room where the fire began.

One woman who spoke to 11Alive said she had to evacuate her unit with her small child.
