A huge south Perthshire electricity substation – the size of 19 football pitches – has attracted more than 80 letters of objection.
SSEN Transmission’s controversial scheme for the 400kV Cambushinnie substation, near the village of Braco, includes a control building, engineering operations, plant and machinery, as well as track alterations.
It is part of SSEN Transmission’s proposed Beauly to Denny overhead line upgrade carrying renewable electricity from the north of Scotland to the central belt.
