$3.2M to bring more solar panels, energy upgrades to Ann Arbor neighborhood

ANN ARBOR, MI — Ann Arbor is stepping up its efforts to make the Bryant neighborhood the city’s first to be carbon-neutral with big investments in solar panels and home energy upgrades.

City Council approved eight contracts totaling about $3.2 million on Aug. 7 for investments in the southeast Ann Arbor neighborhood chosen for the decarbonization initiative.
