Maumee Branch Library will host a rain-garden workshop at 6 p.m. Tuesday.

Sara Guiher, a member of the rain garden initiative and extension specialist with Ohio Sea Grant, will talk about the function, placement, plant choices, and maintenance of a rain garden.

Following the presentation, attendees will be able to tour a rain garden at 7 p.m. at the home of Linda Fayerweather in the 400 block of West Broadway. They are to commute to the site on their own.

The workshop is presented by the Maumee Environmental and Tree Advisory Commission.
