A Winthrop man who allegedly crashed his dirt bike into a State Police cruiser as part of a group of 100 motorized vehicles that tore down Interstate 93 over the weekend is due in court on Monday, authorities said.
Adam Harrison, 22, is to be arraigned in the South Boston Division of Boston Municipal Court, State Police said in a statement Sunday.
He is facing charges, including disturbing the peace and resisting arrest, State Police said.
Harrison was among a group of 100 people driving dirt bikes, scooters, and bicycles that entered the
O’Neill Tunnel on Interstate 93 south via the Zakim Bridge around 2 p.m. on Saturday. The group used Exit 17 to leave the highway near Government Center but returned to I-93 soon after, the statement said.
