The city of Columbia is accepting applications for its fall 2025 Civic Academy, according to a news release.

The Civic Academy is a free, eight-session interactive program that provides insight to local government services and operations and offers opportunities for civic engagement, according to a news release from the city.

The Civic Academy is open to Columbia residents 18 years or older. The program is free, but enrollment is limited to 30 participants, according to the release.

The sessions will be held for eight Thursdays from 6-9 p.m., from Sept. 25-Nov. 13 with dinner served at each of the sessions.
