CLOVIS, N.M. (KFDA) – Two juveniles were involved in a shooting late Friday night in Clovis, N.M., according to the Clovis Police Department.
At about 11:46 p.m. on Aug. 15, police dispatch received a report of 11 to 16 gunshots in the area of Norris Street and Mabry Drive. The caller reported seeing a gray vehicle traveling north on Norris Street.
When officers arrived on scene, they located 30 bullet casings of two different calibers in the roadway.
Minutes later, Plains Regional Medical Center notified police of two individuals with apparent gunshot-related injuries.
Clovis police detectives from the Special Operations Unit responded to the hospital, where they contacted two male juveniles, ages 15 and 16.
