Almost 30 years after debuting, MSNBC is changing its name. Since launching on July 15, 1996, the cable news channel has remained a television staple for decades now, including for its robust coverage of breaking news and political commentary. Keith Olbermann and Rachel Maddow are among the many notable individuals who have worked for the channel over the years.
