HENDERSON, Ky. (WEHT) - Officials say after a comprehensive two-month investigation, the Evansville Fire Department (EFD) and Evansville Police Department (EPD) have announced a man suspected of arson has been arrested.

EFD officials say Brandon L. Thompson, 28, is facing arson and criminal trespass charges. Officials indicate the incident resulted in significant property damage at 101 North Kentucky Avenue in Evansville on June 1.

Officials say Thompson is currently being held at the Vanderburgh County Jail. Authorities say due to the ongoing nature of the legal proceedings, no further details will be released at this time.
