ROCHESTER, N.Y. (WROC) — A man who was at large after a Farmington fraud investigation has been arrested by the Ontario County Sheriff.
42-year-old Chaz Keon Davis of Rochester was arrested on a second-degree grand larceny and second-degree assault warrant. This stemmed from an investigation into a scheme to obtain two vehicles, valued together at over $100,000, through fraud, allegedly involving Davis as well as two other men who have already been arrested.
According to OCSO, during the investigation into the fraud, Davis, while being told his rights, ran away and injured a Deputy, sending him to the hospital. It wasn't until yesterday, August 20, that he was relocated and taken into custody, eight days later.
Davis appeared in court and was sent to the Ontario County Jail. He will ret
