TUCSON, Ariz. (KVOA) - The Pima County Sheriff's Department has identified the man whose remains were found near the San Joaquin Trailhead in December 2024.

Sheriff Chris Nanos will be providing details regarding the identification of John Doe on Aug. 22 at 10:30 a.m. at PCSD Headquarters.

This comes after PCSD was seeking the public's help in identifying the man , and an artificial intelligence (AI) image was generated based off a Tucson Police Department sketch of the man.
