AIKEN, S.C. (WRDW/WAGT) - Some Aiken families received internet access, and veterans received access to technology at the American Legion Post 26.
The Legion teamed up with Comcast to provide laptops to local veterans, enabling them to connect with others on Friday.
Additionally, Comcast set up a Wi-Fi hotspot called a lift zone at the Legion Post.
These resources allow veterans to have access to telemedicine as well as to connect with their families.
