The scorching heat isn’t going anywhere this weekend.

As the hot summer temperatures continue to hover over the Inland Empire, residents like Stephanie Raming were finding ways to cool down on Friday.

“It was supposed to be over 100 degrees today, so we came to beat the heat,” Raming said. The Claremont resident and her two children, Bentley and Hunter, spent Friday at Raging Waters in San Dimas trying to stay cool.

Triple-digit temperatures are blanketing Riverside and San Bernardino counties through Monday and have prompted the National Weather Service to remind residents of the extreme heat warnings in place. By Tuesday and into next week, temperatures will begin to drop into the 90s in many parts of the region.
