THE New York Giants have been cleaning up shop ahead of the new NFL season.

The Giants, like the rest of their NFL rivals, have been hard at work in pre-season training over the last few weeks.

Several players on the roster have been trying to save their bacon with impressive performances in training camp.

Some have been successful in maintaining their spot on the roster.

EIGHT , however, have failed to make the cut ahead of Tuesday's 53-man roster deadline .

Wide receivers Jordan Bly, Zach Pacal, and Montrel Washington have been released by the franchise, as have linebackers K.J. Cloyd and Dyontae Johnson.

Defensive back O'Donnell Fortune, offensive line Jaison Williams and center Jimmy Morrissey have also been let go.
