PRICEVILLE, Ala. (WHNT) — The Priceville Police Department said a man was arrested after officers found drugs in his vehicle Friday afternoon.

According to PPD, on Aug. 22, at about 5:40 p.m., the Priceville Police K-9 Unit stopped a vehicle in the 3200 block of Point Mallard Parkway. The driver was identified as 37-year-old John Edwin Kircher from Decatur.

Officers conducted a narcotics investigation after completing the traffic enforcement aspect of the stop.

PPD said the investigation led to the discovery of a quantity of cocaine, marijuana and drug paraphernalia within the vehicle.
