A rescue operation for a woman trapped 22.000ft up a mountain with a broken leg is understood to have been abandoned.
Russian mountaineer Natalia Nagovitsina has been stuck for ten days in storm conditions on Victory Peak in Kyrgyzstan with little food or water.
The 47-year-old was seen moving on drone footage as recently as three days ago, after being struck for a week. But since then, temperatures have sunk to minus 23C.
