FORT WAYNE, Ind. (WPTA) - EMERGENCY! ‘The Ultimate First Responder Event’ was held in New Haven on Saturday.

Held every other year, the family-friendly event showcases fire, police, EMS, and towing emergency service apparatuses, exhibits old and new equipment used by first-responders, and features a ‘firematic antique flea market’, food trucks, vendors, and children’s activities.

Saturday’s festivities began with a parade along Powers Street at 10 a.m. and continued downtown until 3 p.m.

In its sixth year, the event provides a way for the community to physically and financially support local emergency agencies and organizations.
