JANE LEW, W.Va. (WBOY) — The Jane Lew Lions Club Safety Fair returned for its 15th year Saturday afternoon at the Jane Lew Park, giving members of the community a chance to connect and interact with their local authorities.
The Lewis County Sheriff's Department was in attendance, along with the Jane Lew Fire Department and Lewis County EMS.
The West Virginia Division of Natural Resources also hosted an interactive wildlife exhibit for members of the community, and children had the chance to go into the firetrucks and spray the fire hose.
Safety Fair Coordinator and Jane Lew Lions Club member, Debby Walker, says this event is a great opportunity for members of the community, especially children, to come out and connect with local authorities and first responders.
