CLARKSBURG, W.Va. (WBOY) — The Clarksburg Reptiles and Oddities Show returned to the Village Squares Conference Center on Saturday.
Fans of slithery and scaly creatures gathered to buy, trade and see several different species of exotic animals including various reptiles including snakes and different species of lizards such as geckos, chameleons and skinks. There also were turtles, crabs and even tarantulas on-site.
Michael Kandis, promoter for Ohio Valley Reptile, says events like this aren't just for buying and trading, but they also help those who are unexperienced with exotic animals learn and interact with them.
Kandis also expressed his excitement with how engaged and willing to learn the children are whenever they see the reptiles and the various different animals.
