WASHINGTON, Okla. (KFOR) - A McClain County Sheriff deputy's home was set on fire early Saturday morning.
"I just heard really loud popping and could see the red flashing lights through my window, and I looked out and the cars and the house were just up in flames," said Cameron Ward, neighbor.
The deputy's house and vehicles were engulfed in flames by the time law enforcement responded to the scene. McClain County Sheriff Landy Offolter says the deputy called it in to dispatch.
"Our deputy called into dispatch, said that his pickup had exploded and that somebody had tried to bomb his house," said Sheriff Offolter.
The sheriff's office said 28-year-old Austin Garrett Reeves intentionally set the cars on fire.
