TAUNTON, Mass. (WLNE) — A 14-year-old girl was seriously injured after an SUV hit her bike Friday night in Taunton.

Taunton police said the crash happened just after 5:30 p.m. on Tremont Street.

Police said the driver of the SUV remained on scene and is cooperating with the investigation.

It was one of two serious crashes Taunton police responded to within the same hour Friday night.

The other involved two vehicles and a motorcycle on the Lakeville town line.
