This is the dramatic moment police arrested a suspected bike thief at a petrol station in Stockport .
The 14-year-old was taken into custody after police on patrol in an unmarked car spotted the off-road bike being ridden by three lads wearing balaclavas. They followed the motorcycle, which had no number plates, to a petrol station on Marple Road, Offerton , before arresting the teenaged on suspicion of theft of a motor vehicle, handling stolen goods, and possession of a presumed class B drug.
He has since been bailed pending further enquiries. The arrest took place around 2pm on Tuesday.
The bike is believed to have been taken around a week earlier.
