MOBILE, Ala. (WKRG) -- Mobile Police are investigating after a man was shot and killed in the Quail Run Subdivision in the Tillman's Corner area.

Police say they were called to a home in the 5000 block of Quail Run East for a shooting. When they arrived, they found one man dead. They say another man has been detained. A news release from Mobile Police says "this was an isolated incident that remains under investigation."

The news release does not say who was detained, what that person may be charged with, or what led up to the shooting. Several police cruisers surrounded a home on Quail Run, and police tape cordoned off a section of the neighborhood.
