BALDWIN COUNTY, Ala. (WKRG) -- Two people are dead after a car and SUV crashed on Highway 59 in Baldwin County Saturday. According to a news release from the Alabama Law Enforcement Agency, a Chevy Cruze and a Lexus SUV collided head-on on Highway 59, two miles south of Stockton, at about 1:15 Saturday afternoon.
The car caught fire after the crash. The driver and passenger were killed at the scene. State Troopers say the SUV was driven by a 15-year-old who was taken to a hospital for treatment. A 51-year-old from Spanish Fort was a passenger in the SUV and was flown to University Hospital.
