More than 300 flights headed in and out of Denver International Airport on Sunday were delayed amid afternoon thunderstorms , and a handful were canceled.

As of 4:15 p.m. Sunday, 330 flights at DIA had failed to leave the gate on time and three were canceled entirely, according to flight tracking software FlightAware .

Southwest delayed 122 flights, followed by 101 United flights, 61 SkyWest flights, 15 Frontier flights and 10 American Airlines flights, according to FlightAware. Nine other airlines delayed between one and nine flights.

United canceled two flights on Sunday and Frontier canceled one.

No traffic management programs — including ground delays and ground stops — were active at DIA at 4:15 p.m. Sunday, according to the Federal Aviation Administration .
