PORTSMOUTH, Va. (WAVY) -- A man is wounded following a shooting Sunday night in Portsmouth.

Police say it happened around 10:35 p.m. in the 600 block of Frederick Boulevard.

When officers arrived, they found one man with injuries that were not life-threatening. He was taken to a local hospital for treatment.

The investigation is ongoing.
