One person was flown to hospital after a helicopter crash at a UK holiday hotspot.
The craft was believed to have crashed in a field near Shanklin Road on the Isle of Wight, just after 9am, with officials immediately sent to the scene.
Hampshire & Isle of Wight Air Ambulance, the Coastguard Rescue 175 from Lee-on-Solent and Hampshire Police all rushed to attend the incident, with a road closure in place.

It was not clear why the helicopter crashed, but the Hampshire and Isle of Wight Air Ambulance issued an update.
A spokesperson said: "We have treated and airlifted one patient to the Major Trauma Centre, University Hospital Southampton.
