Coventry City are reported to be in “advanced” negotiations with Wolfsburg over a potential £10m deal for Milan van Ewijk.

That’s according to European transfer specialist Sacha Tavolieri, who has more than 193k followers on social media platform X and is claiming the player has agreed a four-year contract with the Bundesliga side.

The Sky Blues right-back has started the new season in sparkling form, providing three assists in his last two games as Frank Lampard’s men have bagged 12 goals in back-to-back Championship matches.

The arrival of fellow full-back Kaine Kesler-Hayden from Aston Villa earlier in the summer appeared to pave the way for the Dutchman’s exit. But Van Ewijk has continued to be Lampard’s first choice starter in the club’s opening three league games.
