MORSE, Wis. (Northern News Now) - An elderly Upper Peninsula man who was missing was found deceased in Ashland County Sunday.
According to the Gogebic County Sheriff’s Office, the man is identified as Frank Wilson, 91, of Ironwood Township.
Around 11 p.m., search teams found Wilson’s body roughly two miles away from his vehicle, which was located in Morse, Wisconsin.
Wilson had been missing since Aug. 21 when he left his home early in the morning, driving the family vehicle.
Authorities said there is no foul play suspected; however, Wilson did suffer from dementia.
